KnowlesvilleEvent Details:Join us for Art and Nature Camps at the Knowlesville Art and Nature Centre! The Wild Child Summer Day Camp (for ages 4-12) goes from Tuesday-Thursday\, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm daily beginning July 2nd through to August 14th. \nCampers will have the opportunity to engage positively with their natural environments; discovering all the wonders the outdoors has to offer. Through various fun activities\, games\, art\, and discussions\, children will learn about our native plants\, animals\, trees\, and basic ecological concepts. They will connect using their body\, heart and mind and be given the freedom to use their imagination\, play and just enjoy being kids in the summertime! The Wild Child Summer Day Camp includes three specialty themed weeks: \nJuly 8th – 10th: Yoga\, Plant Magic & Theater: This unique camp brings the ancient gifts of yoga\, plantmedicine\, and artistic expression all into one amazing week. Nourish your body\, mind\, and soul! \nJuly 22nd – 24th: Farm Camp at Fairlight Farm and Forest Centre: Come take part in the farm life! Campers will get to jump in and learn skills for self-sufficiency on the homestead through fun hands-on projects. This camp takes place off-site at Fairlight Farm & Forest Centre\, just down the road from us! \nAugust 5th – 7th: Eco-Explorers Week: We will explore the woods\, tend our gardens\, learn survival skills\, and play games. Rain or shine we will venture out into the forests and fields to engage our hands\, hearts\, and minds.
