Community Forum on Healthcare in Carleton North

September 10th, 2024

On September 17th, 2024, from 6 PM to 8 PM, the New Brunswick Medical Society will hold a community forum at the Western Valley Multiplex (698 Central Street, Centreville) to discuss the state of primary care in our region.

The NBMS has conducted a comprehensive analysis or primary care resources and access across New Brunswick. Their findings indicate that Carleton-Victoria is at risk due to demographic factors affecting both patients and providers. This has implications for the quality of healthcare services in our community.

The forum will feature a presentation of the data specific to Carleton-Victoria and explore best practices from other regions. Following the presentation, there will be a discussion with local physicians and a Q&A session for community members to engage directly.
