How to Vote
Voting in municipal elections is simple. All residents who meet eligibility are encouraged to participate, to have your voice heard through your selection of members of Council.
Mayor (1 to elect)
Councillor At-Large (2 to elect) Residents across the District will vote for 2 candidates
Ward 1 (1 to elect) includes: Centreville (south), Good Corner, Charleston, Lakeville areas
Ward 2 (1 to elect) includes; Centreville (north), Royalton, Greenfield, Knoxford, Summerfield areas
Ward 3 (1 to elect) includes: Bath, Beechwood, Upper Kent, Moose Mountain areas
Ward 4 (1 to elect) includes: Florenceville-Bristol, Oakland, Stickney areas
Ward 5 (1 to elect) includes: Glassville,
East Knowlesville, Juniper, Lansdowne areas

Voting Eligibility
- Reached the age of 18
- A Canadian resident
- Permanently live in the Province for at least 40 days before the election
- Live/own property within in the District of Carleton North
Ways to Vote
- Vote in person: Registered voters can vote in person
- If you are not registered to vote, you can get added to the voters list by bringing pieces of ID with you to the Polling Station or Returning Office.

- Election Day: Vote in person at your polling station between 10am and 8pm
- You will receive a Voters Information Card indicating your Polling Station; Or
- Find your Polling Station HERE
- On Advanced Polling Days: Vote in person at your designated Polling Station or Returning Office between 10am and 8pm
- Advanced Polling Days are May 2 and 4
- At the Returning Office: During an election, the Returning Office is open Monday to Saturday and you can cast your vote here throughout the election
- Local Returning Office: 8696 Main Street, Florenceville-Bristol (Florenceville-Bristol Community Hall)
- Vote at Home: Contact the local Returning Office and request a visit from a special voting officer if you are home-bound due to illness or incapacity or the illness or incapacity of someone in your care).
- You must schedule these visits in advance.
- Vote by Mail: Request to vote by mail
- Application for Special Ballot
- A mail-in voting kit will be sent to you
- Mark and send back by mail/courier
- Your ballot must arrive at the Returning Office by 8pm on Election Day
- You are responsible for the cost to return your ballot
