Please inform dispatch you are calling from Carleton North, to prevent any confusion
The District of Carleton North is committed to ensuring responsible dog ownership and public safety through effective enforcement of the Dog Control By-Law No. S-3. To help achieve this, we have contracted the New Brunswick SPCA (NBSPCA) to provide enforcement services.
The NBSPCA is authorized to respond to complaints, enforce the provisions of the by-law, and issue fines or take other necessary actions where violations occur. Their officers are trained to address concerns related to dog control, complaints, licensing, and more.
For full details on the rules and responsibilities of dog owners in our community, please refer to the Dog Control By-Law No. S-3.
