Halloween in District of Carleton North is full of tricks and treats.

The Halloween Truck or Treat occurs at Riverside Park in Florenceville-Bristol. Local businesses and Fire Departments enjoy giving out treats and seeing all of the great costumes.

The Halloween Haunted Trail was a success in 2025 with over 190 people attending. The cost for the trail is $3 for each person. The proceeds from this event go back into the Tourism Department for this and other events.

2025 National French Fry Day recap.

National French Fry day falls on the second Friday in July each year.

This year the Team created a two day event at the Potato World Museum in Florenceville with live music and a McCain French Fry Bar.

Activities on Saturday include Free McCain French Fries, Potato World Museum tours, face painting, inflatables, vendor market, educational exhibits and more!

Canada Day kicks off with the Kin Club Breakfast at Florenceville-Bristol Community Hall served by donation.

Street parade runs through Bath from School Street through Church Street, down Mechanic Street and Main street .

Afternoon celebrations are held at the Bath Fairgrounds, 200 Main Street, Bath, NB. Cake cutting and music starts at 12:30PM with a vendor market, outdoor games, inflatables and food vendors.

To end the day there is a free Glow Swim at all swimming pools (Bath, Centreville and Florenceville-Bristol) and evening music with fireworks at the Fairgrounds (weather permitting)

The inaugural Brews on the Boardwalk happened on June 14, 2025 along Main Street in Florenceville-Bristol.

The event was headlined by Ronny Michaud playing a great variety of music for all ages.

Craft Beer, Wine and Cider Vendors were onsite giving out free samples of their tasty beverages.

Steve’s Sausages and On The Boardwalk Restaurant rounded out the event with delicious food.

Mother Day was celebrated in style with the inaugural SwifTea Party at the Western Valley Multi-Plex in Centreville.

Attendees were treated to an afternoon of tea, sweet treats, photo booth and friendship bracelet making.

Taylor Swift Nights were held for 2 age groups and included dance party, friendship bracelet making, photobooth, games and treats.

This year introduced the Special Easter Egg Hunt for ages 2-4, 5-9 and 10 & up. Paper eggs were hidden around Riverside Park. Entries submitted included a photo of the egg and all entries were entered into a draw for prizes.

Easter in the Park included:

  • Visit with the Easter Bunny
  • Games & Prizes
  • Face Painting & Balloons
  • Free cookies & treats

The Easter Bunny also made appearances at Upper Kent Rec Centre, Lakeville Community Centre, Glassville Community Centre, and Juniper Rec Centre

Snow Blast happens yearly in February around the District including:

  • Hot Chocolate Bar
  • Taffy On The Snow

The Polar Express Experience is an imaginative family adventure to the “North Pole” aboard the Shogomoc Train Car and exploration of Shogomoc Train Station.

Canada Day 2024 was a celebration for the books! Our community came together to enjoy a day filled with lively parades, incredible live music, and fun activities for all ages. The highlight of the evening was the stunning fireworks display that lit up the sky, leaving everyone in awe. We’re so grateful for everyone who participated and made the day special. Thank you for joining us to celebrate our nation’s heritage and spirit. We’re already looking forward to next year!

Solar Eclipse 2024

Earlier this year, we witnesses a breathtaking solar eclipse that captivated our community and beyond. The rare event brought everyone together to experience the awe-inspiring moment when the moon completely covered the sun, casting a shadow over the Earth. Whether you viewed it through special glasses, at a local viewing event, or from the comfort of your home, it was a moment that reminded us of all the wonders of our universe. Thank you to everyone who shared this incredible experience with us!

Snow Blast 2024

What a fantastic weekend! Snow Blast 2024 was a huge success, and we want to thank everyone who participated in this year’s festival. The highlight was undoubtedly the Cardboard Classic Sled Competition, where we were blown away by the creativity and craftsmanship on display. The impressive sleds and excitement of the races made it an event to remember.
