Light Up In Blue for Prostate Cancer Awareness
This September, the District of Carleton North is proud to join communities across Canada in the “Light Up In Blue” campaign to raise awareness for prostate cancer.
Throughout the month, the District of Carleton North will be illuminating the Town Office, Bath Office, Centreville Office (Western Valley Multi-Plex) and The Andrew and Laura Public Library in blue to show support for the 1 in 8 Canadian men who will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.
By shining a light, we aim to spark conversations, promote early detection, and support the important work being done by Prostate Cancer Foundation Canada.
We encourage residents and local businesses to join us by displaying blue lights, wearing blue, or learning more about how they can help make a difference.
Together, we can light the way to greater awareness and better outcomes.
