Toronto folk-roots singer-songwriter and fingerstyle guitarist Shawna Caspi performs at Second Wind Music Centre (16 Curtis Road) in Florenceville-Bristol at 7:30pm on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 as part of her spring east coast tour.

Shawna is on the road supporting her latest album, Hurricane Coming, which was nominated for a Canadian Folk Music Award and an Ontario Folk Music Award. She’ll have CDs for sale, along with postcards featuring original artwork she created inspired by each song on the album. Shawna is an accomplished visual artist and will also be selling original landscape paintings with her merchandise, while supplies last.

Audiences will feel comforted in the welcoming space that Shawna creates, and be engaged in songs that resonate with stories that are relatable, but told in new and unexpected ways, with lyrics that are poetic and meaningful, wrapped around intricate fingerstyle guitar accompaniment. This is music that makes an authentic human connection, that conveys a sense of closeness, of being understood, of feeling less alone.
