Wabanaki Forest & Communities Restoration Symposium
Join the Knowlesville Art & Nature Centre on Saturday, March 29th for the Wabanaki Forest & Communities Restoration Symposium beginning at 1:00 pm at the River Art Centre. Attend the exhibition and participate in workshops to learn and to build connections with people who are passionate about the forest ecosystem. This is followed by a networking supper and keynote speaker at 5:00 pm at the On the Boardwalk Café & Wine.
This symposium will bring together people who have a keen interest and love for the natural forests of our region. Community organizers, native plant growers, ecologists, local businesses and landowners… we are calling on your participation to create a vibrant connected community working together to restore the Wabanaki forest. Come to workshops on growing native trees & shrubs and forest restoration design; learn from botanist Jim Goltz about the diversity of native plants and be inspired by people who are engaged with restoration and reconciliation of our relationship with the land.
Please join us by booking your ticket to the event, or reserve a booth for your organization so you can share your vision and foster new relationships within the community. This event is by Donation! Space is limited and registration is required, please register by March 21st.
