On February 10, 2026 the Municipal Plan By-Law and Zoning By-Law were read by summary.
Council will read these By-Laws by title only for the 2nd and 3rd readings in Council March TBD.
Please submit your inquiries to inquires@carletonnorth.com before March 3, 2026 for Council to take into consideration before finalizing the Municipal Plan By-Law and Zoning By-Law.
Municipal Plan By-Law P-01 – A by-law to adopt a Municipal Plan providing long-term planning policies and direction for growth, development, and land use within the District of Carleton North.
Zoning By-Law P-02 – A by-law to regulate land use, development standards, and zoning within the District of Carleton North.

At the Regular Council Meeting on Tuesday December 9, 2025, Conor Tripp, Planning Director at the Western New Brunswick Service Commission presented the Zoning By-Law and Municipal Plan to Council and the Public.
This Zoning By-Law outlines the District of Carleton Norths development regulations to implement the policies of the Town’s Municipal Plan within the realms of land use, subdivisions of land, and development.
