Tuition reimbursement bursaries for Paramedics and EMT students

Effective June 11, 2025, until March 31, 2026, the province is investing in a tuition reimbursement initiative for students who have successfully graduated from one of the provincially approved post-secondary education programs in New Brunswick to become a paramedic or an emergency medical technician.
Eligibility
You may be eligible if you:
- Are studying or have begun your studies between June 11, 2025 and March 31, 2026, in a recognized and approved training program.
- Are studying at one of the following education institutions in New-Brunswick to become a primary care paramedic (PCP) or emergency medical technician (EMT):
- Are studying at one of the following institutions in the Maritimes to become an advanced care paramedic (ACP):
- Sign a “Pay-to-Stay” return-of-service agreement with Ambulance New Brunswick upon graduation:
- Two years of full-time service for primary or advanced care paramedics
- One year of full-time service for emergency medical technicians
